Fletcher Technical Community College Offers Student Centric and Community Need Based EducationEstablished in 1927 as b ranch of Alabama State College in Montgomery , Alabama , the College offered extension courses for teachers for 9 years. Two year college was established in September, 1936. Declared as mobile center and state junior college in 1965, the college was named Mobile State Junior College and renamed as Bishop State Community College in 1989. Cross registration, dual enrollment for high schools students, internship, ROTC, honors program, and Weekend College are some of the student friendly features. Transfer students are not ignored. However both SAT and ACT scores are important. Aids are applied using the FAFSA form.
